I took a series of guitar lessons with the very talented Anter Blackbird. He is not only an incredible musician, but a very kind and patient instructor. Anter was on time, energetic, and came prepared for each lesson with handouts printed for me. After going over the basics, he met me at my current skill level without going over my head, and challenged me to stretch out of my comfort zone. It definitely wasn't easy, but the way he presented the material was engaging and fun. Previously I was teaching myself guitar via YouTube and iPad apps, but it simply doesn't compare to having a live instructor. I highly recommend Anter to anyone interested in taking guitar lessons.
